In Acts 1, Jesus ascends to heaven to sit at the right hand of God and rule over all creation. But, before he leaves, he promises the Holy Spirit and sends us out to proclaim the reality of his reign. This Sunday, we consider how the ascension of Christ both comforts us and sends us out into the world on mission with God.
