Preacher: Mrs. Chelsea Reynhout

After hearing the good new of Jesus, there is a point that we all stop and ask, “Ok, so now what?” That’s where chapter 4 of Ephesians brings us: “Now what?” This week we will explore our calling to peace and what it might mean as a community.

After a brief digression, Paul offers the Ephesians his prayer for them. He prays for them to be transformed by Christ and to finally comprehend the love of our God. Ephesians 2:1-22 ~ It’s All Grace

Text: Ephesians 2:1-22

Title: It’s All Grace

Preacher: Rev. Greg Brower

Have you ever received a difficult diagnosis from a doctor? Maybe it was cancer or heart disease, diabetes or lupus, or some other chronic disease. For many people, our first response in the face of difficult news is to deny, reject, or ignore the diagnosis. We can get scared and even angry with the bearer of this difficult news. This morning, Paul delivers some difficult news to us. We are dead in our sins. We are deserving of punishment. Will we stay to listen to the treatment plan or reject the truth and look for a more comfortable lie to live? This is the question before the Ephesians and us as we read together Ephesians 2:1-22.

Ephesians 1:15-23 ~ The Word on the Street

Text: Ephesians 1:15-23

Title: The Word on the Street

Preacher: Rev. Greg Brower

We continue our sermon series reading through the book of Ephesians. The word on the street reaches in Paul in Rome and he celebrates the life of the church in Ephesus. The word on the street still has power today. Through friends and family, social media, we gather information about our world and how we can understand it. But sometimes, we need to listen to another word, not the word on the street, but the word in heaven. The truth that does not change. We continue the series reflecting on Ephesians 1:15-23 and we get a heavenly view on our present reality.

Ephesians 1:-14 ~ Can You Believe this Election?

Text: Ephesians 1:-14

Title: Can You Believe this Election?

Preacher: Rev. Greg Brower

We start a new 8-week sermon series reading through the book of Ephesians. While many point to Romans as the most influential of all Paul’s letters, many other scholars point to Ephesians as the greatest summary of Paul’s thought and the lens through which we should read the rest of his letters. Ephesians offers us a glimpse of the big picture of the gospel and then as it proceeds outlines how we now ought to live in light of this good news. We begin the series at the beginning in Ephesians 1:1-14 and reflect in wonder at God’s gracious gift of salvation given in Christ.
