Title: What is Your Mission?

Preacher: Rev. Greg Brower

This morning we begin a four week series tied to our mission and vision as a church. Because we are also in the season of Easter, most weeks, we will look at our mission through the lens of one of the resurrection/appearance stories. Join us on Sunday as we consider the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus and how we have responded to the hope we have in Christ.

Matthew 21:1-17 ~ Palms, Praises, and Other Plans

Text: Matthew 21:1-17

Title: Palms, Praises, and Other Plans

Preacher: Rev. Greg Brower

This Lenten Season, we celebrate Jesus through the eyes of the Gospel of Matthew. On this Palm Sunday, we remember Jesus’ triumphal entry, the shouting of the crowds, the waving of the branches, and also the consternation of those in authority as he clears the temple. As the people of his day to the mission of Jesus wrong, we ask ourselves this Palm Sunday if we too have forced our agendas onto Jesus rather than making his mission our own.
