Zion Community Garden

A fresh opportunity starting in our community!

Our goal is to provide a space to grow fresh, healthy produce for local residents who might not have access to this resource.

We currently have twelve 4×8 foot garden beds that are ready for seeds, plants, and gardeners for the 2026 growing season. Along with fresh produce, we also hope to grow a fun and supportive community among our participants!

Here’s how the garden grows

  1. Print and fill out an application form and pay the garden fee online. Deliver form to Zion’s office or come to one of our informational meetings on April 13 or April 15—6:30 p.m. at Zion Reformed Church.
  2. Your garden bed is not reserved until you have signed and turned in the application form AND paid the garden fee.
  3. The growing season starts May 1st, and runs through October 31.
  4. Each bed rents for $20.00 per season. If you have difficulty paying, please speak with a garden manager! If you maintain the bed throughout the entire season, you keep the produce you grow AND your rental fee is fully refunded at the end of the season in November! Please see the application form, and garden rules for additional details.

  5. We hope to have occasional gardening programs to help “grow” our gardening skills and knowledge and to grow our community. These are optional to attend, but we hope you will take advantage of these.

We know you will have questions and we want to help you.

Please attend one of the meetings to learn more or call the church office to be connected to one of our garden managers!
